Instructions

  1. Mix your flour, salt, baking powder, and baking soda in a large bowl
  2. Then, add in your unsalted butter and mix
  3. Add in your vanilla extract, milk, and oil and mix
  4. Add in your egg and mix until combined
  5. Oil your cake trays and pour your batter into your 2 trays
  6. Bake your cakes at 350F for around 14 minutes
  7. Take them out and let them cool
  8. In a small bowl, mix your gelatin and hot water, set it aside
  9. In a large bowl, mix your whipping cream and powdered sugar together until it thickens, then add your gelatin(if your gelatin has solidified, put it in the microwave for 10 sec)
  10. Mix until stiff peaks
  11. I decided to make fondant for the feet of the jellycat cake, however it is optional and you can dye your frosting brown instead
  12. n a microwavable bowl, put 3 large marshmallows 1 tsp of water, and 1/2 tsp of oil
  13. Microwave for 30 seconds then mix, for the brown color I used 2 drops red, 3 drops green, and 1 drop black (optional)
  14. Mix until food coloring is combined
  15. Then, slowly add in powdered sugar, add enough until it becomes a doughy texture
  16. Kneed the fondant with your hands, and form into leg shape
  17. Take a small amount of your whipping cream and dye it black for the face and also brown in another bowl if you did not make fondant
  18. Assemble the cake and enjoy!!!
